Voluntary recall of the Analemma Water Bottle – Frequently asked questions

Dear Analemma family,

Your safety is our top priority. Below you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions about the voluntary recall of the Analemma Water Bottle. If you cannot find the information you are looking for, please contact us directly using the contact details at the bottom of this page – we will be happy to help you.

1. What happened?

The Analemma Water Bottle contains an inner quartz glass tube, the so-called inlay, which is in the drinking water area during normal use. We received a report from one of our customers that a shard of glass had been swallowed after using the product.

As soon as we became aware of this, we voluntarily initiated a recall in close cooperation with the EU General Product Safety Regulation (EU GPSR), as your safety is our top priority. We have stopped all sales of the product and are contacting all our customers to ensure that everyone is taken care of.

2. Should I continue to use my bottle?

No. We strongly recommend that you stop using your Analemma Water Bottle immediately until you have received and fitted the protective mesh insert that we are sending to all affected customers. Please put your bottle aside until your remedy has arrived.

3. What remedies are available to me?

You have two options, and we want you to feel free to choose the one that suits you best:

Option 1 – Free stainless steel protective mesh tube insert. This insert is retrofitted into your existing bottle and is designed to prevent glass splinters getting into your drink, even if the glass insert breaks. Installation is simple – the mesh insert slips right over the long part of the insert in your bottle, and we include clear step-by-step instructions so it only takes a few minutes to fit. Shipping is completely free of charge.

Option 2 – Full refund. If you prefer not to continue using the bottle, we fully understand and will be happy to refund you the full purchase price instead.

There is no pressure – both options are available to you.

4. How do I get the mesh insert?

We will start sending the mesh insert to all affected customers at the end of May/beginning of June 2026. All customers will be notified by email as soon as we start shipping.

To ensure that your assignment reaches you without delay, please check or update the following details by emailing info@analemma-water.nl:

  • Your full name
  • Your delivery address, including zip code and country
  • Your e-mail address
  • Your telephone number

If you have already replied to one of our previous emails and confirmed your details, you do not need to do anything else – we have already saved your data.

5. How do I get a refund?

If you prefer a refund instead of the mesh insert, please contact us by email at info@analemma-water.nl to initiate the process. The refund process is as follows:

  1. As soon as we have checked your details in our system, we will contact you by e-mail.
  2. We will provide you with a return label for your bottle.
  3. As soon as we have received your bottle back, we will refund you the full amount.

6. My glass insert is already cracked or broken. What should I do?

Please stop using your bottle immediately and contact our customer service at info@analemma-water.nl or by telephone on +31 (0)85 124 9018.

In the meantime, please contact us at info@analemma-water.nl so that we can confirm your details and ensure that your replacement receives priority.

7. Does this recall affect my bottle?

This recall affects all Analemma Water Bottles – both the black and white variants – sold between November 2025 and February 2026. If you purchased your bottle during this period, you are affected and are entitled to a remedy. If you are unsure, please contact us and we will check this for you.

8. Is there a health risk I should be aware of?

We take this very seriously, which is why we have proactively initiated the recall. Unless your insert is broken, there is currently no immediate danger – however, as a precaution, we ask you to stop using the bottle until the mesh insert has been installed.
